The trail could benefit from a few more connections to adjacent streets, which I realize is difficult because there are homes and private property in the way
It’s not clear to me where this stub is intended to connect - or when. For now the 3000 feet of trail north of Benjamin Street is a recreational trail effectively.
The I-295 trial from Lewinsville Road Benjamin Street in McLean is basically finished, though there are still construction barrels and such along the way.

Federal government agrees not to touch bike lanes until at least April 23rd and in exchange WABA will not file for a temporary restraining order. Instead they'll file for a preliminary injunction in the coming days and try to resolve that before the April 23rd deadline.
