It’s worth watching Martin Lewis pull Jeremy Hunt up on his politicking nonsense of "everyone will be better off". Martin's precision with numbers is superb. Hunt left floundering. He can't bluster with Lewis 👍🏼👍🏼 love it

Martin Lewis is right.

@LucyABeaumont I had an interview at a school in Barrow. Chair asked if I thought the children would struggle with my London accent. She was also concerned about me living overseas as she "had never been out of Barrow"!

@crellis8 @Alison_McGovern She came across as very nervy to me and rattled at points. Difficult when being harangued and not supported by the Chair. And when the Chair chips in midway through your response with questions you know its not your night.

What patience the brilliant @Alison_McGovern has shown tonight. Not sure many could keep their cool with the poison being spat out by the absolutely awful Isabel Oakshott. #bbcqt

#bbcqt also, I'm pretty sure "net zero" migration isn't net zero, if you let some migrants in to do some jobs and send other migrants off to Rwanda. It would involve equal amounts of British Citizens leaving no?

#bbcqt I don't have an issue with people with varying viewpoints being on a panel show. But you can't have people talking over and haranguing over panel members. Shame on Fiona Bruce for not controlling the discussion and joining in with her own questions. Very disappointing

Why on earth would BBC producers say Fiona bruce cant say "shit" on #bbcqt way after the watershed when it's a crucial word to explain one of today's news stories? What decade is this.

#bbcqt why have you got a panellist that shouts down everyone else? Why isn't Fiona Bruce taking control of this?

@b_z_p1 Exactly what I said. Every opportunity to ask her own question to the Labour rep and doesn't interrupt Tory or the lady in red

Here she goes, allows the Tory to ramble on and barely interrupts, yet wants a pound by pound forensic breakdown of labour's plans. This woman is totally unfit to be an unbiased chair. #QuestionTime #bbcqt #bbcquestiontime #fionabruce

#bbcqt Fiona Bruce is coming across as rather Tory-centric. That comment about "your next government" was not "cheers and some boos" it was boos and some claps. Also, the Labour rep is being questioned by Fiona, but I don't see the same happening to the Tory.

What jobs do teachers go into if they stop teaching? Seen a few people coming out of the classroom but don’t see too much about what they do next?

@RogersHistory This is a bit like VAR isn't it. When you're not there at the time, seeing it unfold, you can't make a clear judgement call about whether it was too much.

“Do I regret stepping in to protect a child from a beating, or to protect another teacher? Not at all. Do I regret that it put me in hospital and destroyed my teaching career? Absolutely” Says a lot the kids campaigned for this teacher to be reinstated. #lo7mrbrjetmnmraqnfp" target="_blank" rel="nofollow noopener">nottinghampost.com/news/nottingha…

Seeing lots of posts about school leaders wanting to celebrate Black history in October. Wanting to play music or include inspirational people in their assemblies. My question is, "Why only in October?"

Anon post: I’ve had an email from my NEU rep tonight saying that the DHT is stressing everyone out with the high number of learning walks which are followed by feedback (positive and points to develop). I know there are 3 observations but understood learning walks are unlimited. My question is, would you keep learning walks less frequent, would you use them to inform you but not generally give feedback or would you carry on? TBH I was thinking it was a bit much…

@Headteacherchat ...and they knew that any comments/questions were never punitive and purely to inform/improve learning. I guess it depends what the learning walks are on top of. We never did formal observations.

@Headteacherchat When I was a Headteacher, I would regularly wander around the school, popping in to lessons. I'd sit and talk to the children about their learning. Sometimes the staff and I would talk about the lesson or they would ask me to teach a certain part of the lesson. I trusted staff
