@LVNDMARK_tv @Alpacheris @Nikolas_ghost If you are not running a 9800X3D / 9850X3D cpu, I hope your pc is finely tuned because tweaking it will matter even more. There is a lot of things to do to make the 9950x work at it's best.

@art_is_war Good advice, also on amd you might want to disable USB selective suspend. It's a windows power option and it can mess with your peripherals just like this. Applicable to high pooling rate hardware also.

I opening this up to PC twitter cuz I know a bunch of y'all follow me: AM5 boards, any chipset, seem to be REALLY picky about what USB port is used for audio devices. GoXLRs, multiple DACs, USB mics. They all hang Win audio srv, including apps. Ports straight to CPU = fine

@hucfps Using 8k does not mean better performance on the mouse and is often useless or worse. Every mouse has recommended polling rate vs dpi, on a lot of them 800dpi -> 2k polling rate is best. Your system has a hard time keeping up with 8000 updates/s

why is 8k pulling giving me microstutters in games? changed my op18k to 4k pulling and the stutters stopped

As somebody who offers services in that field I can tell you it breaks my heart when I see all these pseudo tweakers offering incredibly bad advices to people just to get clicks. Hard truth is, anybody who watches a few vids and prompt chatgpt think they are tweakers god when they have no idea what they are actually doing.

I think these self-proclaimed "tweakers" underestimate the lengths I am willing to go to to prove their bogus claims are undeniably, unquestionably false. If you are scamming literal kids that are trying their hardest to become pro players, and feeding into a toxic loop of placebo/nocebo where you convince them that "latency" or whatever flavor of the month buzzword is holding them back, you should be ashamed of yourself. I'll gladly be the @coffeebreak_YT of this space if needed

Well. All things considered, today was a success. Reviews are mixed based on a few factors. Working on a patch right now to fix the issues that popped up today. But our wishlist conversions are great for day 1 and we’ve seen a LOT of positive sentiment in reviews, comments and livestreams. Went better than I expected! Our Discord channels have been popping off with people finding cool Easter eggs and hidden things. Awesome day!

@KIRNEILL The better LOD negative bias setting here is gonna be dependant on the game engine implementation, some will fare better visually with "Allow". Also, if using DLSS, it is better to set it to "Allow".

Should ARC Raiders have a dedicated Duo queue? From my experience, ARC Raiders shines in Solo and Trios. Duos often feel disadvantaged - if two equal squads clash and one has a 3rd gun, its usually over. What if there was a Duo queue similar to Solos: prioritize Duos vs Duos, and only after a while mix in Trios/Solos to avoid long queues? Curious what you think, Raiders!
