In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Most Compassionate.
O Allah, O Ever-Living, O Sustainer, O Repeller of harm, O Subduer, overpower whoever intends to overpower me.
Just as You brought Adam out of Paradise, returned Yusuf (Joseph), cured Ayyub (Job), made Musa's (Moses') enemies a means of his salvation, and raised Isa (Jesus) to the heavens, raise my rank.
Just as You saved Yunus (Jonah) from the belly of the whale, saved Nuh (Noah) and those with him from the flood, and protected Ibrahim (Abraham) from the fire, save me from every distress, sorrow, anxiety, hardship, harm, evil, poverty, illness, and every evil person.
O Most Merciful of the merciful, just as You brought Yusuf out of the darkness of the well and honored him, honor me through Your goodness and favor.
O Eternal, O Self-Subsisting, O Generous One, Allah is sufficient for us and He is the best Disposer of affairs, the best Protector and the best Helper.
And (remember) Ayyub when he called upon his Lord: "Indeed, harm has touched me, and You are the Most Merciful of those who show mercy." So We answered him and removed the hardship that was upon him, and restored his family to him and the like thereof with them, as a mercy from Us and a reminder for the worshippers.
