Welcome back to the bi-weekly #CleanTechEU thread!🧵 Today, we’re sharing insights on the upcoming Industrial Accelerator Act (IAA), answering the following question: how to address the current market failure in advancing low-carbon industrial production?

Last week, ZEP joined the CEN/TC 474 meeting on harmonising technical standards across Europe’s #carbonmanagement value chain. A priority emerged: reinforcing coordination between EU-funded research and standardisation efforts, & encouraging data sharing among projects.

At the #ICMSummit2025, Luc Haustermans presented Yara’s #CCS project in Sluiskil, where 800,000 tons/year of CO₂ will be captured from 2026. 📢 A policy framework to support low-carbon product demand in the EU & a functioning CO₂ market are key to unlocking the CCS potential.
