prediction markets were on our radar for a while, but ongoing litigation threw a wrench in the gears. super thankful to a certain university faculty who piqued interest and joined us in helping us understand and navigate the machinery of bureaucracy, providing razor-sharp counsel. it’s really been a thrill. the last 4 months have been intense to say the least. today marked the final day of the time we carved out for the project, an undertaking that had several team members relocating on a whim, renting Airbnbs, and taking it day by day to make sure we could show up in person. if things click, we’re hoping to make a loud entrance. otherwise, chalk it up as a hell of an initiative that sharpened the pencil and made sure we’re never dull when it counts.
