The issue with many Reform voters is that even if the economy grows, wages rise and immigration falls to the lowest level in decades, they still won’t be happy because the politics was never really about solutions, it was about anger, grievance and finding someone to blame.
You can’t build a country on permanent outrage.

Iran would have no incentive to mine the Strait of Hormuz if we weren’t there.
Pull our forces out & Iran faces major pressure to open the Strait from the rest of the world & loses their justification.
Staying in our current posture is inviting escalation for zero gain.

MORE details on US strikes vs Iranian targets today: 2 Iranian boats were caught laying mines in the Strait of Hormuz, senior US official tells me. The US military eliminated both IRGC vessels and also struck at a SAM (surface to air missile) site in Bandar Abbas that was targeting US warplanes. “These were defensive strikes.” They do not indicate ceasefire is over, according to two well placed sources.

I've deleted my first post about Rachel Moiselle's tweet. I had only seen the screenshot, so did not know the context. I now know she was not alleging that Palestinians wanted to be raped by dogs. She was arguing that Palestinians couldn't have been raped by dogs, because in all the cases of penetration by dogs in medical literature, the human wanted it.
So she's not saying Palestinians are sexual perverts. She's saying they are liars.
And for that reason, this isn't an apology. She's a scumbag.
