First time testing with @worldlycounsel and made the PT! Amazing experience, played the best deck (Bant 🦦) and did it justice! @jaimegonzalo14 + WC broke it in testing, was confident in the guide finishing 7-1 Swiss, losing quarterfinals (swiss loss). Onto Amsterdam!! 🔥

5-0 + double ID, then won quarters to split top 4 of the Sunday 5k Modern today with this list -1 Elesh, -1 Sanctuary, +1 Gruul Turf, +1 Myscosynth Garden. List felt fantastic, 5-0 vs Breach, 3-0 vs Energy, and 4-0 vs Eldrazi over the weekend, would happily play this 75 again.

6-2 for 20th place at the ANZ RC with my baby. 1-0 vs Energy, 2-0 vs Eldrazi, and 3-0 Breach, but losses to Zoo and many, many maindeck copies of Dress Down and Consign from Jeskai Control got me. Norn was medium, not sure it’s worth the splash.

@dominharvia Agree with this - was so happy to go 9-6-1 at my first PT but was left with a bad after taste at being one win short from requalifying too. Not to say everyone should come back for free, but the PT feels hard enough to get on as it is.

Happy for friends who benefit but OP/AMP thresholds (+ Worlds invites) need revision IMO. Treading water with ~9-7 is disproportionately rewarded (+ in turn ever missing a Day 2 is brutal) - an oddly high # of important matches are at 3-4 on Day 1 or low tables late on Day 2 etc
