Fascinating that Fast Network will run in the G2 Chairman’s Trophy over a mile, instead of taking on Ka Ying Rising in the Sprint Cup. The five-year-old, who was wildly impressive over 1,200m carrying top weight last time out, will have a trial over a mile at Conghua tomorrow.

💨 A serious performance from Circuit Champion. Missed the start, at the rear behind a relatively slow pace, but that’s not enough to stop the 5YO coming home in 21.81s.

𝟏𝐬𝐭 - 𝐒𝐭𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐲 𝐆𝐫𝐨𝐯𝐞 - Followed up a remarkable handicap win over a mile with an impressive Classic Cup victory at 20/1 earlier this month, showing another explosive turn of foot. Has shown he has plenty in his armoury, with the ability to quicken off a slow pace and make a sustained run off a fast tempo. He’ll be ridden conservatively from barrier seven before unleashing his run in the straight.

𝟐𝐧𝐝 - 𝐍𝐮𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫𝐬 - Made a great start to life in HK with two front-running wins from three starts over 2000m and 1800m, looking a likely Derby contender from the word go. He led again in the Classic Cup and held on for fourth after setting a red-hot tempo. That effort can be slightly upgraded and he looks the only real pace angle again. Despite having to tackle barrier 13, Frankie Lor’s uncomplicated youngster has another big chance.
