Video of the massive tornado north of Shelby, IA, Friday evening as it was tracking toward Harlan. Photojournalist Brandon Green and I had it live on air during the 6pm news. Connectivity/ signal was glitchy at times which is expected around a big tornado. #iawx

It was devastating to see some of the Elkhorn neighborhoods today. Here just a few of the scenes we saw. Nebraska will pull together like we always do and will support the families who lost their homes.

Y’all Elkhorn got nailed. I didn’t take the first video, that’s about 1/4 mile from my house. I took the 2nd video. You can see the updraft. My nephew is a firefighter and Elkhorn is in very, very bad shape.
