FBI team up with Arkansas state police to bust corrupt Sheriff. This is the video of Sheriff James Stephens of Johnson County Arkansas getting caught as part of an FBI sting. Arkansas state police were directed by the FBI to pull over Stephens as part of a normal traffic stop. During the stop Stephens claimed he was visiting a confidential Informant (CI) as his reason for traveling outside of his county. What Stephens was not aware of was the house he stopped at was being monitored by the FBI. It was due to this visit that the FBI instructed the trooper to stop Stephens. During the stop a search was conducted and pills and large amounts of Marijuana were found. It was at that time the Sheriff was taken into custody. The story didn't stop there as he stayed on as the Sheriff while he fought the charges which is mind blowing to me. In the end he took a plea deal. He plead guilty to felony possession of hydrocodone. In return he resigned as Sheriff and surrendered his certificate so he can never work in law enforcement again. He also got a sweetheart deal of 6 months probation and a fine of 10k. Another easy penalty for a public official. What do you think the penalty would be for a regular citizen?

Hands up, credentials offered, and they still tased him and sat him in a cruiser for an hour. That’s not a $10k situation, that’s a federal agent being assaulted by cops who had every reason to not be aggressive.

Honestly, he was being a little cocky which comes off as shady. Not saying that the local cop didn’t do anything wrong but he didn’t do $1.6 million of damage to this guy. $10k max.

Police in Columbus Ohio mess up bad when they arrested a real ATF agent. This one of those videos that really make local PD look bad. The first officer arrived on the scene and immediately drew his firearm and started demanding the ATF officer to get on the ground. Never gave him a chance to show his credentials, treated him like a criminal with zero chance to prove his innocence. clearly in the video it is seen he had his hands up with his paperwork in his hand. There was no need to demand on the ground and not give him a chance to identify himself. They arrested him, put him in the back of a squad car and continued to mock him until they made contact with his supervisor. This ended in a huge lawsuit that cost the tax payers of Columbus 1.6 million dollars over two incompetent cops that believe or not as of 2025 are still on the force doing God knows what other damage.
