@dmc3lady I also was expecting the black suit to work like in Web of Shadows or even Spider-Man 3, instead it's just, a suit lol It has its 4 abilities but gameplay wise, the rest is much the same as the classic, which is a big wasted opportunity imo

@dmc3lady The side quests vary quite a lot depending on them, but the main story is fine (minus certain spoilers things I won't comment obviously). The main problem the game had was that it tried to do x3 more as the 1st one with the same runtime, so it just feels incredibly rushed...

I will play Insomniac Spider-Man 2 eventually for the web swinging but I am gonna expect the most artificial dialogue ever

@_Zexser_ i drafted a post like this but i kept it because i thought it'd be too mean. but i feel like so many people flock to the Netflix series and love it because they think Castlevania games are too inaccessible (old/difficult/expensive) so they'll take the next best thing

this also goes for Netflix Castlev- *gunshots*

@ubedye I know the games have this "they're campy on purpose!" fame, but in actuality if you play them in japanese, they're quite well written! Even the worst entry has better dialogue than most seasons imo, but oh well, at least we are getting a new game so I shan't complain *too* much

@ubedye Been saying this but sadly not many people have played Castlevania in comparison to DMC, so when they butchered the characters people did not care a single bit LOL

@Fan22Club I get the sentiment, but just cause she has "tomboy" personality traits it doesn't mean she has to wear "masculine" presenting clothes all the time! She wears both "feminine" and "masculine" presenting ones in the show/movies and I like that better personally, Noa is being Noa❗️

Seeing illustrations like these makes me so disappointed to see how feminine her outfits were in On TV

@Arkmundus You should! It's an incredible good and charming show and both movies are some of my fave from Oshii as well (tho most of his works are my fave so that's somewhat cheating lol)
