Why do people say Marathon isnt casual friendly? Free kits and a knife every runner has can win fights even against higher shield players. Rook runs are also an insane way to get stuff very casually with no loss Is it harder? Is it a challenge? Yeah, but doable

@Arrrrash Was grinding this map last night with no issues. It must be a PC player thing. Like they actively play it differently. I ran into a sniper but it but it wasn’t right off spawn, it was middle of the game. I just don’t see the problems people talk about

I hope Night Marsh somehow changes Dire Marsh up a lot because currently its by far my least favorite map. The idea of playing more of it but just darker makes me very unwell

@ShacosBabygirl Because they step into Dire Marsh and won’t exfil for literal days. This isn’t an exaggeration. A friend sent me a clip of him getting sniped 15 secs after spawning near AI uplink. He hasn’t played since. Gear based matchmaking is very necessary. Idk why ppl are against it.

@ZachBeckman10 @MallowTheQueen You can win as a grey vs high tier but given the current level based MM, if you are like level 60 matching with other high levels and the best you have is grey that's kind of just on you.

@__doof @MallowTheQueen We have plenty of metrics to help determine where to put people but people with grays and blues fighting other grays and blues is already well balanced in this game however people with grays fighting purples not so much when battles are constantly determined by gear vs skill

Give loot based matchmaking more than 5 seconds of thought and there's a lot of reasons it's bad.
