He benefited from the NPP - funding, support, everything. Just last year, he was fully aligned with the party, even campaigning for Kennedy Agyapong during the January presidential primaries. Fast forward to April, and suddenly he’s launching his own party called- “ The Base.” Just like that ? Let’s be honest, at some point, many of us believed “The Base” was directly linked to Kennedy Agyapong himself. After the January primaries, we all saw the signs: flyers, banners and even branded buses with Ken’s face connected to this so called Base movement. Yes he denied it but the optics never really went away Now it turns out the official launch of the party is being driven by one of his strong supporters “Agya Koo”. That only raises more questions than answers. So let me ask the obvious questions: 1. Will the NPP still trust someone like Agyakoo with any inside access? Because this kind of switch up doesn’t show loyalty. 2. Who is really behind this new party formation? Is it truly Agya Koo acting independently, or is this indirectly sponsored from within the NPP party to destabilize the NPP ? Honestly the dots are starting to connect a little

THE IMPACTS OF HON. HARUNA IDDRISSU— 2025-2026 Since assuming office as Ghana’s Minister for Education in January 2025, Hon. Haruna Iddrisu has demonstrated consistency, competence, and a clear commitment to national development. Within just months in office, he has led major reforms and interventions in Ghana’s education sector: • Spearheaded a National Education Forum that generated over 2,000 policy proposals, ensuring inclusive and stakeholder-driven reforms. • Introduced the “No-Fee-Stress” digital platform, supporting over 129,000 students with tertiary admissions and financial aid access. • Secured GHS 7 million in funding to support tuition for students with disabilities, promoting inclusive education. • Ensured the release of over GHS 600 million to sustain feeding programs in Senior High Schools, protecting student welfare nationwide. • Established a National Research Fund (GHS 50 million) to boost academic research and innovation. • Advocated for the local production of sanitary pads, combining education, health, and job creation under a national policy. Even in the face of economic constraints, he has remained transparent and pragmatic, defending the recruitment of 7,000 teachers while acknowledging the need for more and pushing for long-term solutions. Beyond 2025 into 2026, he continues to advance digital education policies and institutional reforms, including strengthening governance within the Ghana Education Service. Let us not forget. This is a man who has served Ghana consistently for over two decades from Minister for Communications,Minister for Trade and Industry,Minister for Employment and Labour Relations, to Minority Leader in Parliament, and now Minister for Education with an unbroken record as Member of Parliament for Tamale South since 2005. #HarunaEffect

His brother raided, seized excavators, burnt down equipments, killed employees and shut down Hansol Mining Company Limited because Wontumi didn’t agree to join the NDC. The sad part is, he told him to his face that there’s nothing he can do about it cos his party folks asked for it. Imagine the level of Hansol Mining now if it was allowed to continue operating from 2013. Sigh!

@The_four_eyed @ms_yenu It’s the duty of our media houses to visit that area and bring proof but here we are just going back and forth with it. If it was staged, then the person chose a wrong place… this wouldn’t make the government unpopular in that area and you know that

@_koose @ms_yenu And why is he telling the kids not to laugh, but be serious, where to pass, and to also put their books on their heads. Wouldn't the kids know these if passing there was a routine?

I I've seen many Ghanaian youth criticize the government for providing motorcycles 🏍️ as part of the primary healthcare program. Some of you haven't traveled outside the big cities to understand how most Ghanaians live and what they endure. This is Fanteakwa South, where Ken Ofori Attah's brother serves as a Member of Parliament. Besides the lack of electricity and clean water, cars can't pass through these communities. The only transportation option is motorbikes, and even then, sometimes we have to get off and push or get stuck. Thank you, President @JDMahama @mohgovgh, for thinking outside the box and going on the ground to bring healthcare access to Ghanaians' doorsteps. @teamqha, for the past 13 years, has focused on healthcare access in underserved communities, and it's encouraging to see a government that understands what that means. Now, to the Ghanaian youth, travel outside the cities, and you'll gain a better appreciation for some of these issues. @fanti_boy @victusdela @gyaigyimii @samdarrrko @metrotvgh @tv3_ghana @ghonetv @GhanaSocialUni @Serwaa_Amihere @koboateng @SierraSec_NG @Tagbor5 @chief_aryba @sonofjacob98 @DashelleAdu @kofitonto @Bridget_Otoo @AnnanPerry @ghanaian_bell
