This is Henry Desagu—the young man whom alcohol completely destroyed.
And yet, heavy drinkers still try to convince us that alcoholism is just another normal, harmless habit.
Desagu was once a rising star and a highly admired content creator. At his peak, he was earning around Ksh. 800,000 in a single month from YouTube. I know he had his own personal struggles, but that’s not the point.
His friends told him, “Try alcohol—it will help you forget your worries.” He listened, fell into alcoholism, and that was the end of his creativity. These days, he’s just… existing, with nothing left.
Let this serve as a serious warning to everyone, especially young people: DO NOT START DRINKING.
Alcohol addicts love to make it sound normal. They’ll even guilt-trip you with nonsense like, “If you don’t like alcohol, then you must like women.” They want to shame those of us who choose not to drink.
Don’t listen to them. Starting alcohol will quietly destroy your focus, your health, your purpose, and your entire future. Ignore the lie that “successful people drink.” That one sip you think you can control could be the beginning of something you’ll never be able to stop.
Protect your future. Say NO to alcohol before it says YES to you.
And if you don’t drink, don’t date people who do. Don’t invite someone else’s addiction into your own life.
