@myssblondye Ha! a quick google search would tell her they are extremely difficult to win - you have to prove harm (job loss, divorce, etc) not just emotional damage, you have to prove the statements made were false (to the point of negligence) & the cost of the case often exceeds payout...

@midwestprincsss Just so you know, the United States has not established that there is a reasonable expectation of privacy in private text message conversations… the “intent to cause harm” that she’s referring to refers to (in nyc) intimate images not private text messages
