Oct. 24, 2022, is the LAST DAY Michigan residents can register online or by mail to vote in the Nov. 8, general election. From Oct. 25 through Nov. 8, you must go to your city or township clerk’s office to register with proof of residency. Register at Michigan.gov/Vote.

I have lived within a 45-min drive of Dearborn for most of my life. My family tree runs through there, yet there are many things I still don’t know about this layered, complex community w/a delicate history. Out-of-town, politicized hot takes turn locals into pawns. Pls don’t.

@politicony Libraries/librarians are in the business of connecting readers to the books & materials they are looking for. We think that is a pretty American value that leads to more liberty & pursuit of happiness (sometimes life). Others may be at war against these values, but not libraries.
