just realised i saw keshi today one year ago, and my vinyls came in today hehehe

i actually really didn't want to comment on this but i just couldn't hold it in anymore. it's sadly a fact that inequality of opportunity is everywhere in the world, but honestly, i'd say it's way worse in esports and it's just painful to watch. pls don't get me wrong here. my examples are gonna be about valorant esports, and i'm never the type to say 'put someone in vct just because they are a woman or trans.' i only say it when they genuinely deserve it. people shouldn't be robbed of their chances to trial just because of their gender and when they actually earn their spot, the reason they get rejected shouldn't be ''oh the guys on the team might feel uncomfortable/affected''. i know this is a male dominated industry and i know the reasons why, but why can't we just give a fair shot to the ones who actually deserve it? like, WHY did meL get vetoed by some player right before her full trial? and now she literally earned her way into tier 2 twice. imagine if she was actually given a fair chance back then? potter? do i even need to say anything? you can love or hate florescent, but she proved she is an insane player simply because she was actually given a chance. WHY am i still being harassed even though i only asked a person one question and made it clear afterward that i didn’t want to talk? i really expect ppl in this scene to act their age and show some maturity but reading the comments even under this post just disappoints me so much. pls try to think with your brains, not your genitals.
