Cuando entiendes que el núcleo de Marathon es diferente, empiezan a encajar las piezas. ¿No hay zonas de alto botín? Eso es porque el mapa entero es la zona de alto botín. En Marathon, el que llega primero a una zona no se lleva el mejor botín. En Marathon, el último equipo en extraer es quién mejor botín se lleva, es un giro de 180º. Conforme pasan los minutos, llegan refuerzos UESC con mejor loot, jefes y eventos mundiales diferentes. Tiene sus pros y contras, como también el otro sistema de llegar el primero se lleva todo lo bueno. #marathonthegame

@KurtKaniff @FootkieFr @MarathonTheGame I agree Kurtis. You are not alone in wanting information on when we can download(if it’s pre download or not), if we have to register prior or during. Just SOME kind of information or guide would be nice to clear up any confusion.

@FootkieFr @MarathonTheGame All these "details" say is WHEN the free weekend starts and what you can do during it. NOWHERE are there details about HOW to join. They do not tell you when downloads will go live, where to download, what will be necessary to join (ie. A bungie account) or ANYTHING.

‼️ NEW: Leaked Marathon hands-on impressions from a China event: -First hands on event outside of NA, indicating Bungie's emphasis on the Chinese community. -Blown away most by the expanded worldbuilding/narrative. The tutorial & faction intros give clear origins and motivations. Players can even discover the will of Dr. Strauss, a key-figure who connects many narrative threads from the original Marathon games. -Personal impressions are that the PvE is extremely challenging. AI is constantly calling in reinforcements as time goes on so there is no "clearing the map". Environmental hazards like poison gas vents, perimeter turrets and landmines everywhere as well. -Meds/shields are expensive to buy from vendors that by the end of the play session, the reviewer could not even afford them unless he sold all of his buffs -Early combat or PvP is almost guaranteed to be a net loss, expects the high-risk exploration experience to push players to focus on missions to upgrade base stats. Expects there to be little to no player co-operation, calling every enemy player a loot pinata -As for objective improvements since alpha, UI seen a massive overhaul but still finds the UI logic a bit awkward -In-game visuals also seen a massive upgrade, environments giving off a much darker and mysterious tone comparing it to Pathways into Darkness and the original Marathon trilogy -Skill distribution across all classes is fairly balanced allowing for flexible team compositions (multiple Shells have movement abilities). Cosmetic shop and battle pass were unavailable at the event but each runner has six base appearances tied to each faction -28 guns and each has 2 or more skins with some even altering the weapon model. @dougdagnabbit It’s basically made me stop watching over the last few years. Now I just watch a YouTube video or nothing at all. I miss when you could watch twitch with mild ads and think ah this isn’t bad. Now it’s the most frustrating thing to try and watch.

Twitch is basically unwatchable these days without subscribing to twitch turbo. Every stream I open I'm hit with 2+ minutes of ads. Sometimes, when I finish those ads, I'm instantly hit with even more and can't watch the stream before having to watch 5+ mins of ads.
