It's exasperating that every time this conversation starts, the accounts of abuse just come rolling in. When will we have change? It's no good just making art about it either, we need institutional support that is 💰 shaped, not just ❤️ shaped.

Continually amazed by Pages stubbornly opening any Microsoft Word document like an absolute crazy person. This incompatibility spans decades and would be such an easy fix and the decision to NOT DO THAT in a laughable attempt to enforce brand loyalty is just cute at this point.

Noticing how Tik Tok trends are changing the way pop songs are written. I'm seeing a lazier approach to structure these days because once you've got that 15 sec lick that people can sync to, there's no incentive to be palatable for a further 3 mins. Interested to share thoughts!

@EVS_Composer Great question! So, it was his assistant that was arranging the meeting, I do not have one. It was framed as 'a meeting to discuss a commission and potential working relationship' so I'd think a fee ought to be implicit in that, otherwise it's not a commission, it's charity.

Happy Monday to everyone but especially to me, who just wasted half an hour meeting someone online for a potential commission. It was very silly of me to assume that just because it was all organised through an assistant that there would be ANY budget for me?!
