Payal Kapadia was so obsessed with the films of Apichatpong and Miguel Gomes that she wrote a thesis on them at FTII. In 2021, Apichatpong would present her docu at FIDMarseille, and 3 years later, her and Gomes' film were in Cannes competition and both won. Stuff of dreams ❤️
