Sincerely even if I’m inclined towards your party, this is not a fair statement from you. “I fought for the NDC to come into power, my job is done. I paid my due. You Ghanaians criticizing me, what have you achieved?” There are many Ghanaians who made sacrifices like you to bring the NDC into power. For these people once NDC came into power they can rest. They’ve fought well. However yours is different. Once NDC came into power, you were specifically chosen by the people of Ningo Prampram to fulfill a duty. As if that’s not enough you were blessed with a special appointment to be a Minister to represent the people of Ghana in the Communications Sector. You’re no longer at peace or at rest. There’s a job to do based on this mandates you were sworn into. This means you must wake up everyday and serve your constituency, whether they’re NPP and NDC. You must also wake up everyday and serve the people of Ghana in the communications sector whether we’re NPP or NDC. Bringing Mahama into power was not your doing. It was because of assurances he made to us which you also relayed to us quite boldly. Mahama is doing his part, and won’t come here to say; “I’ve fought for power, now my work is done. I am at peace.” Even if he means it differently Ghanaians will assume he’s saying he’s reached his goal and he has no further obligations to us. But he’s here to serve. And you’re also here to serve each and everyone of us. You cannot call us low IQs and bold mouthed persons or shame us when we legitimately demand for fulfillment of the mandate. You assume many people who call you out on social media are grassroots youth with political agenda to waste time on you. Thats far from the truth. Many have studied in Knust like you and even gone to private schools like you. Many are smart and are frustrated that your strong statements deliberately twist and churn into misrepresentations once you enter power. It was obvious as you’ve stated indirectly to us, that all those actions and bold statements and even some hurtful words you made was all to bring your party into power. This makes sense but it’s not supposed to be a disappointment. We all did similar things too but at least let’s not turn when we earn power. There are many high performing ministers right now. We’re not going back to extract their controversial statements and drag them. They were as bold as you too but there’s a difference (which I’ve not expended lots of effort to find. It’s unbearably clear.) We appreciate your mighty works into bringing NDC in power and it seems the stronger the love, the stronger the hate. Maybe this might lead to mighty dissatisfaction among the good people of Ghana and since your voice is strong now, their voice will be stronger in 2028. We appreciate you. Peace out sir.

Dear X, In 2017, when many were afraid to speak for the NDC after the massive 2016 election defeat, a few of us stood up and filled the gap. I was on TV and radio, sometimes 3 times a day. I was on the floor of Parliament as part of a paltry 106 against the NPP's 169. I made sure my voice was heard! Today, I see the slicing and reposting of old videos to set an agenda. I smile and say, "I have paid my dues." You may think you are cooking, but with each video you post, you show the stripes on my shoulder as I fought to bring my party - the NDC - to power. I stood for something I believed in - the return of JM. When former Ministers refused to speak and defend, I did, and I have ABSOLUTELY no regrets. So, dig deeper, you will find 10,000s of videos of me toiling either on the screens or in Parliament. Today, JM is back in power with an even bigger victory than we lost in 2016. We have almost 190 MPs in Parliament. I paid my due, and I hold my head high. Now ask yourself, what have you stood for or achieved? If you think my hustle is simple, like we say on the streets, do make we see! The fact that I have chosen peace does not mean that I am asleep. You think you are agenda-ing, you are simply writing my political memoirs, and I am reading with delight at the testimony of the work we did and achieved. This one is a #TuffSeed. Go and ask your predecessors and be told! Nothing you say about me today is new and has not been told to me before. And oh, let me add the emojis. 🦁🇬🇭 #EyesFixedOnThePrize #LionBorn #HyeWonHye #ThatWhichFireCannotBurn
