Today’s decision by SCOTUS finally affirms in law what we all already know should be: that LGBTQ+ people cannot be discriminated against in the workplace, no matter their gender identity or sexual orientation. Now, we need to push for protections beyond the workplace.

We are aware of the article posted by Eugene Volokh yesterday on his blog ("UCLA Law Dean apologizes . . . ."). We stand in solidarity with the UCLA Black Law Students Association, and are ready to help however we can. This is unacceptable.

Update: We are still planning a forum wherein students can have a conversation about xenophobic concerns and community healing. We gladly note that our Dean has expressed interest in attending. UCLA Law students - stay tuned for date and details. Thanks for your support!
