@fuukattino There’s actually a surprising amount of substance in the Mikasa/Ymir dynamic but it’s all implicit which kinda hurts its execution for pretty much everyone since you need to digest Ymir’s story with these details in mind to get why Mikasa is so important

I genuinely think that “I’d rather get cheap animation than wait years between seasons” mindset stems from subconsciously looking at the show as content rather than art.
In 10 years when it’s all said and done and the show ages like milk you’ll wish they took their time instead.
