There's been a flurry of articles claiming "Organic food benefits are a myth". And the news outlets have all chosen to bolster the narrative with sensational headlines despite lacking in substance and coherence. I'm challenging this view. #organic linkedin.com/pulse/organic-…

Watching Israel move into Lebanon, seizing land, destroying everything, and imposing ethnic cleansing on Shia Muslims- to the extent that Druse and Christian Lebanese HIDE their Muslim neighbors- is like watching Germany roll into Czechoslovakia in 1939, while the world yawns.

If you provide somewhere for the bombs to be loaded onto planes and then dropped on schools, hospitals, roads and railways in Iran, then yes, you are involved. Me for @vioryvideo on how Britain has been dragged into the illegal war on Iran.

Keir Starmer utterly silent on the war crimes that are happening. He'll drone on about a special relationship but nothing to say on war crimes in Iran, Lebanon, Palestine. Trump and Netanyahu able to behave like we have law of the jungle.

Not even apartheid South Africa codified executions for only one ‘race group’. Israel is now the most racist state the world has ever known. Shame on every government, every company, every individual who offer it support.
Dyab Abou Jahjah@Aboujahjah

Israel has now become the first state to codify a death sentence that applies in practice to one ethnic group, while another is effectively shielded from it.

HOW IS THIS NORMAL? Trump on the girls’ school in Minab: “The Tomahawk missile that destroyed it could have been anyone’s. A Tomahawk is very generic.” Facts: Tomahawk missiles are manufactured by RTX in Phoenix, Arizona. The US sells them to exactly four countries: the UK, Australia, Japan, and the Netherlands. None of them are at war with Iran. The White House already confirmed behind closed doors to Congress that the US targeted the area. CNN confirmed US responsibility. 165 girls aged 7-12 are dead. And the President of the United States just told the American people a Tomahawk missile is “very generic.” This is not a mistake. This is not confusion. This is a lie. On camera. About dead children.

Bombing Iran in the middle of negotiations, while starving Cuba, while genociding Palestinians, while threatening to invade Greenland… the US and Israel are the single greatest threat to humanity and it’s not even close. We are all forced to live in the nightmare they create.

This is an illegal, unprovoked and brutal attack that shows once again that the USA and Israel are rogue states. The UK must end our cosy relationship with the USA and our ongoing support for Israel.

Tony Blair at the so called Board of Peace summit blaming conditions in Gaza on the Palestinians. No mention of Israels decades long occupation, 20 year siege & regular attacks (mowing the lawn) that turned Gaza into an open air prison.

I don't think people are realizing what's happening with the Global Sumud Flotilla: it's potentially becoming extremely consequential. Fact is, at this stage the flotilla is effectively escorted by multiple warships from 3 major countries: Spain, Italy and Turkyie. The warships are all nominally there to "assist" and "rescue" the flotilla in case shit happens - that's the official story - BUT: - They obviously have a very strong deterrence effect, so Israel will think twice before attacking - I frankly cannot believe they wouldn't act if the flotilla gets attacked as this would be a major PR disaster for the governments in questions: your own citizens (including some MPs) getting attacked by Israel in front of your eyes in international waters (or Palestine territorial waters) and you watch it happen from your warship? Hard to see this happen, this is politically suicidal for a government. - Logically speaking, why send actual warships if you haven't accepted the possibility there might be a confrontation? As the old military adage goes "don't draw your sword unless you're prepared to use it": if it was purely about assistance and rescue, they could have sent coastguard boats for instance. The "rescue and assist" framing is probably about plausible deniability to retain the most flexibility in the actions they can take, and in narrative management. I'm not sure what's going to happen but as far as I can see there are 3 options: 1) Israel doesn't attack, the flotilla reaches Gaza, which means the blockade is breached and which is a major precedent 2) Israel attacks and the warships of all 3 nations let it happen, which will create a major public opinion disaster 3) Israel attacks and the warships fight them, and you effectively have war between NATO countries and Israel I think you'll agree that whatever happens, it's consequential no matter what. What I suspect is that the governments in question are betting on Israel blinking first but that they're willing to follow through if Israel calls their bluff, they wouldn't have deployed the warships otherwise.

Confirmed News Update, September 29: The Global Sumud Flotilla Receives Aid from Turkish Naval Ships Organizers confirmed with Drop Site that Turkish navy ships are facilitating humanitarian aid from the Red Crescent, after the naval ships provided rescue help to the ship “Johnny M,” which sent out a mayday signal at dawn. It has not been confirmed whether the Turkish naval vessels will join the flotilla’s mission to Gaza. Two civilian ships from Turkey have joined the fleet, and one Italian navy vessel and one Spanish navy vessel have been spotted and have also reportedly joined the fleet for rescue purposes. Organizers provided a statement on these developments: “The fleet temporarily paused after ‘Johnny M’ sustained a leak in the engine room. The situation could not be resolved at sea and the vessel is unable to continue. All participants have been safely transferred to another vessel, some will be reassigned to other boats and others will be brought ashore. We are grateful to the Red Crescent, in coordination with the Turkish government, for facilitating the safe return of participants and delivering additional humanitarian aid to the fleet. This will not cause significant delays to the mission, which is set to arrive in as close as 4 days.” On Tuesday evening, the flotilla is expected to reach 150 nautical miles from Gaza, the likeliest distance where Israeli forces will conduct interception maneuvers of the 40+ ships. Report by Drop Site’s Alex Colston (@enoughformethx).

Tony Blair’s catastrophic decision to invade Iraq cost thousands upon thousands of lives. He shouldn’t be anywhere near the Middle East, let alone Gaza. It is not up to Blair, Trump or Netanyahu to decide the future of Gaza. That is up to the people of Palestine.

The percentage of child dead in the Ukrainian conflict is 0.3%. Zero point three per cent. The percentage of child dead in the Gaza conflict is 37.7%. Thirty seven point seven per cent. In a single statistic, there you have the difference between a war and a genocide.
