i disagree with this take. but i also think that at the very least, Americans would care about winning the World Cup to rub it in the faces of other countries. "this isn't even our most popular sport and we own you" #USA

Can someone explain this kickoff time to me? A 2pm kick here means a 7am kickoff in Australia. If they had done an 8pm kick it would have been 1pm in Australia. Make it make sense!

MLS still has a LONG way to go until it reaches MLB or NHL level. MLB is quite literally America’s pastime for the past century and the NHL is really damn big in America. No doubt Soccer is growing but it will take a while before it overtakes any big 4 American sports. Love you but this isn’t it.
