i’d like to be happy but i can’t stop thinking about the day i wake up and everyone’s gone from my life

through all this pain and suffering what scares me most is being alone

i crave to be noticed

can you hear my thoughts whispering your name in the wind

you’ll have more of my heart than i ever will

my body her canvas

i’d think about you between my sets

i defend myself even though my heart is torn

i thought i was special

i want to understand you i want you and you and you and only you

i’m not a poet i’m just a man trying to be okay

every poem i’ll write will somehow end up shaped like you

i’d write your name down just to see how it looks next to mine
