i despise how weird and disrespectful some people are being about ethel cain’s last post. to publicly post her nude body as a trans woman in times like these is so powerful, brave and beautiful. trans bodies are not “vulgar” and neither is nudity. grow up.

I think it’s cool to see a trans woman’s nude body treated as beautiful in the same way as any other woman’s, and also I think if you’re an adult, you should be able to handle tasteful nudity in art maturely.

My take is that the Ethel Cain photos are both tasteful and a well composed expression of trans beauty. The photographer was correct in noting that there are plenty of full naked cis subjects in art, so why should trans people be excluded from such expression.
