Re: Stanway Personally think for his own development he would look to move South of the border. Wouldn’t trust the clubs up here to develop him further other than maybe Hearts, possibly Falkirk.

@barroldc @RudoBrandGM Falkirk have a far larger support and room to grow as a club than thistle mate, even in our relegation season to L1 in 18/19 we were clear of PT. As for any compensation fee we literally just paid a 6 figure fee to Newcastle for Parkinson so that wouldn't be an issue.

@Spoffshore @RudoBrandGM Falkirk is only a step up in terms of them currently being in the SPL, they are no bigger a club than Thistle. Moot point though as they wouldn’t be able to afford the compensation fee which will be a comfortable 6 figures.

@barroldc @RudoBrandGM United have as much chance as Falkirk going down based on recent history and saying Falkirk aren't a step-up is just stupid. Plus the goal of Stanway moving is to develop him as a player to get a big move later which Mcglynn has a great history of doing.

@RudoBrandGM I'd love him at Falkirk especially as were assuming Tait will go south and Sibs may be coming in, but I doubt he'll stay fit for every game. Disagree with you on the moving south thing, he needs senior football which unless he goes to EL2 he's not likely to get in England.
