Canadians have every right to be concerned. A digital pass to work in another province is a major step toward tracking and controlling mobility. Section 6 of the Charter protects the right of citizens to move and work across the country. Adding a digital verification layer risks turning that right into a privilege granted by government systems. This needs real scrutiny now, not after the infrastructure is locked in.
