Election Day should be a national holiday. No one should be working. We should be at the polls and then maybe a bbq as we wait for results to come in. There should be floats and parades. We shouldn't have to beg people to go out and vote. It should be celebrated.

is there any evidence that annual goal-setting is actually an effective way to run a company? Is there historic data to show that it really works and is better than no goals, or monthly goals, or 5 year roadmaps?
I know it's INTENDED to be helpful, but does it really help?
