You need to understand that the Steelers don’t know what they’re doing. McCarthy might. But he’s the Lone Ranger.

@MrNoFollowers2 QBs need to come out with far more polished tools as they can afford to pay for a QB guru in the offseason.

@bcmcodfather @ASaunders_PGH @steelers @CoachTomlin Is that what you called me? I just figured you were some retard popping up from your mother‘s basement for some air. Maybe you should learn how to express yourself in written format a little more clearly. Maybe then, you won’t sound like that retard.

@bcmcodfather @ASaunders_PGH @steelers @CoachTomlin 🤣🤣As I said, it’s the normal response from liberals who disagree with you. They can’t speak from knowledge and they can’t debate without lying. All they do is cry racism. Here’s a hint… Do some research and see just how good of coach he was… In the meantime, #TRUMP #TRUMP 🤣

@JPbucco33 @Steelersdepot So you think those guys are wildly more intelligent for some reason. You have shown a lack of wanting to gather information to make an informed decision so I know I’m far more generally intelligent than you and definitely am more of a subject expert on Iowa special teams.

@bcmcodfather @Steelersdepot Why didn’t they just draft the special team’s coach then? What about Omar Khan and the entire scouting staff? Do they have a lot to learn about football as well? So you know more than me and them? That’s impressive. I can’t understand why anyone would want to argue with you.

@ASaunders_PGH If this season goes sideways, I wonder where fingers will be pointed. The preaching win now to a fan base willing to accept a rebuild now is setting themselves up for failure. Standing for something and delivering another is never received well.

@JPbucco33 @Steelersdepot Not as good but they will return a few kicks again this year. Senior Bowl practice isn’t game play against men. You have so much to learn about football.

@bcmcodfather @Steelersdepot So Iowa could’ve put any guy back there and he would’ve returned kicks for touchdowns. Is that what you’re saying? Also, what about his practices in the shrine bowl where nobody could cover him? Was that because of Iowa special teams coaching as well?

@Hoobito97 Did the roster improve? Was Tomlin a bad coach but the roster was good? Will they win a division game? Answer is no so why be optimistic about an overweight unemployed coach to solve the situation. Be a realistic and stand up for yourself in wanting to cheer for a winning team.

Apparently, people are confused about the draft, so I'd like to offer some input on the matter. 1. Iheanacho is a RT and a damn good one. His college coach said he is capable of playing LT or LG. But Troy Fautanu was a LT when we drafted him who was capable of playing RT. So if you follow the trail there, that means we should realistically have the ability to move Troy to LT, and Max could play RT. We could also just put Max at LT and have our much better O-line coach get him set there or even use him at LG, which is the least likely, in my opinion. 2. Gennings Dunker gets essentially the same breakdown. He is another very athletically capable guy that many have said would be a great NFL guard. He himself said he would be willing to play any position for whomever drafted him. They essentially liked O-line guys that are athletic and multi-positionally capable. Plus let's be real, the guy looks like he was born to be a Steeler. 3. I do understand the Kaden Wetjen discourse to a degree, just because the 4th might have been a bit high. However, our returner positions before this pick were Kaleb Johnson, Donte Kent, and maybe Jaylen Warren. We saw what happened with Johnson last year against the Seahawks. I like Kaleb Johnson and doubt that would happen again, but I would prefer an actual returner back to receive kicks. Nothing against Kent and Warren, but neither of them are bringing what Wetjen brings to that position. The guy literally won multiple awards for how good he is as a returner. He could also be a solid WR if utilized more in that capacity. He reminds me a bit of Hunter Renfrow personally. 4. Rubio is a solid DT when healthy. Injuries pretty heavily affected his draft positioning. They clearly saw a star when healthy and decided to take a chance. I don't see a problem with that because sometimes that works out for teams, and they took him in the 6th round. Low risk, high reward situation as far as I'm concerned. He's also a big 320-pound nose tackle that everyone was clamoring for, so people should stop complaining about that, in all honesty. 5. Obviously we drafted a FB. McCarthy likes the FB position. People seem to forget that Riley Nowakowski is also a TE. A position that we just lost two players at. We currently only have Pat and Washington before this pick. He can help fill in as a replacement TE and be utilized in a role similar to Connor Heyward whom we also just lost in FA. 6. Allar made sense. Teams were already reaching on QBs, and he was clearly QB3/4 in this draft. They were very obviously going to take him. They scouted him multiple times before his injury, had a formal meeting at the combine, and he was a top 30 visit. They did above and beyond due diligence on Allar. They were always going to draft a QB in this draft. They only had Mason and Will before that pick. He has a ton of upside and potential that McCarthy may be able to unlock. Now we have two young QBs that have a ton of upside. Either way you look at it, the pick was sensible, even at 76. 7. Bernard, Heidenreich, Dunker, and Everett are all guys that help in regards to talent upside and immediate impact, as far as I'm concerned. Bernard becomes an instant WR3. Heidenreich is an all-around athlete and talent that could become WR4 by the end of training camp. Dunker can probably play anywhere on the line and could very well end up being a starting guard. And Everett could be a great talent after learning under Ramsey and JPJ. We can argue about it all day, but I like the class. Was there more value in some of the picks? Absolutely. Do I think the Steelers picked incorrectly? Not necessarily. I think that question will be answered with in-game play. Who knows, maybe Iheanachor ends up being a better and more impactful player than Lemon. Take a breath. Time tells all, and we'll find out in a few months where this class stands.

@ManOGod850502 @Steelersdepot Did you watch the tape versus Iowa State when Iowa attempted to feature him out of the slot with lack of success? I’m unsure how else to say it and question anyone who is so dedicated to badmouthing a player as to ignore it. There is no tape. He wasn’t used in this position. Iowa is notoriously basic offensively. He was uncoverable against top CB at the Senior Bowl. Hope that’s easier to understand.

@Hail_2_Pitt_ Fans think good college QBs can transfer to NFL talent. Prior to the outcry for someone to draft him people accepted Heisman winners as great college players but probably not good pros.

Legit the only response the defenders have is going after Kenny Pickett They are STILL obsessed with the dude. You don’t even have to mention a word about him, but to make themselves feel better they’ll say you thought he was gonna be Brady for us Idiots of the cult.
