@davesumnersmith I’d suggest they be realistic. No point in studying a subject you don’t really like for 3 yrs but realise your passion might not get you a job in that field,not all jobs require a relevant degree.Choosing a future career at 18yrs is difficult & studying might give some options.

Should university applicants choose degrees on the basis of 'passion for the subject' or 'future earning potential'?
