The former Stirling boss was placed on gardening leave last week - but has defended and achievements at the club following almost two years at Forthbank.

@Teddymaybs You should have been sacked at least 3 months ago. absolutely garbage.. won 3 games at home this season under your management..was that achieving your objectives.. you drove supporters away... saying it was your intention to leave is poor.just admit that you weren't good enough
I am disappointed to be leaving Stirling Albion after being informed that my contract will not be renewed. Following what has been a challenging two seasons, it had been my intention to move on at the end of the campaign due to the level of change at the club.
Resident doctors have been left with no choice but to strike. Weeks of negotiations with the Government have failed to deliver enough progress on pay, with the goalposts being moved at the last minute.
We have called six days of industrial action to make the Government listen, stop the game playing, and come back with an offer that delivers fairly on both jobs and pay.
@Stirling_Albion We have played worse & won before, credit to the lads today, plenty of workrate & effort, a bit of togetherness & what a goal from Nabbers....strike son ⚽️ 👏 Goal of the season ⚽️ 💪👏
@M92Scott30@Stirling_Albion Young should have went sooner...the freefall started with him.... Maybury came in to a mess...1st season he kept us up...however 4 transfer windows later we are still no better off ..his time was up months ago..the football or hoofball was chronic trust me
@Stirling_Albion Poor sacking the manager that won the league a few years ago. Why can't people see that Maybury has done a good job. Getting relegated into league 2 is very dangerous and a few teams have been relegated again. He has stabilised, and kept Stirling safe in league 2
Stirling Albion confirmed manager Alan Maybury will not have his contract extended, and has been placed on gardening leave.
Safe from relegation, the Binos will finish the season with Tony McMinn and his interim team in charge.
The club will have a new manager next season! 🇦🇹
