It's my last day at Slack! It has truly been the best job I've ever had and I'll miss everyone dearly but unfortunately it must end like all good things do - by shoving all this stuff into a cardboard Fedex box and handing it to a teenager at Mail Boxes Etc.

I’ve been traveling through a lot of airports the last few weeks. I propose a new TSA rule - if you can chug half your water bottle in front of them you get to bring the other half on to the plane. I’m not aware of any ingestable bombs.

Went down a rabbit hole on the “best” way to play Duck Hunt on modern hardware and landed on using this GunCon 3 that was made for the PS3

Found a duplication glitch that still works for 1.1.2 but it’s a little tedious so I reprogrammed my Teensy to do it for me. Now I have a diamond spear factory.

I spent way too long figuring out psuedoterminals, websockets, and DOS emulation to create this web-based BBS to play Legend of the Red Dragon (LORD). It doesn't work that well on mobile so I'd recommend trying it on a desktop. bbs.bert.org
