The Peel District School Board recognizes December as Christian Heritage Month and the significant contributions and achievements of Christian Canadians and communities throughout the world.

We have an after-school program that helps children develop social and intellectual skills. Every week, we organize extracurricular activities like arts and crafts, sports activities, tutoring support and emotional support for elementary school children.

Yesterday, working in solidarity with @PDSBIndigenous, treaty partners and @regionofpeel’s Indigenous communities, @PeelSchools officially opened the Centre of Indigenous Excellence and Land-Based Learning.

The Network of Black Studies Educators of Peel (NBSE) was created to empower teachers in the classroom to ensure Black Canadian historical & contemporary contributions are infused in all areas of the classroom.

The energy, excitement, sounds & flavours are in abundance at CBO for the NBSE Symposium celebrating a grassroots initiative of @PeelSchools educators to infuse the curriculum w/black history & excellence! Thanks to our educators and students for bringing #blackjoy to our midst!
