There's a mindset in Germany where if something is easy to do, it can't be serious.
Starting a company should be hard. Getting limited liability should cost you. Bureaucracy is a rite of passage, not a problem to solve. It's struggle culture disguised as startup culture.
The assumption is that friction filters out people who aren't committed. But it doesn't. It filters out people who have options. They go to the UK, SF, Estonia, and incorporate in a day for almost nothing.
Instead of worrying about bureaucracy, they focus on solving problems, not paperwork.

@BenjaminHouy @DominiqueCAPaul Either you have 12.5k and go for the GmbH or you anyway have other problems than having to save up 25% up until you can convert from UG to GmbH, honestly it’s a non issue tbh
