@CrimsonDesert_ Could you look into the HDR + DLSS flicking black bar? Both can’t be enabled without the issue appearing. But if I turn off DLSS or HDR it works fine.

@burgiewithfries @TheVaibhavShrma @Pirat_Nation Have a 5070ti myself, and pop ins are noticeable. It’s subjective on how much it affects u, however I personally don’t mind it when u see the draw distance, I am however disappointed in the amount of noise around textures, wish ray reconstruction was on DLSS 4.5

Crimson Desert players are asking for refunds due to the game's terrible clunky controls. "Whoever designed the control scheme should seek employment with the devil."

@burgiewithfries @TheVaibhavShrma @Pirat_Nation I have seen a lot of problems with ray regeneration on AMD tanking the performance. Another is mostly connected to pop ins and a lot of noise around objects.

@TheVaibhavShrma @Pirat_Nation Single player then absolutely. Haven’t gotten far into the story so can’t comment on it, but I doubt it’s particularly good or groundbreaking. I think it’s more about the world, freedom and sandbox elements of the game

Game has its performance issues and controls so far are clunky but could also be a case of not being used to them yet. Overall if u like sandbox games, or idea of an MMO but

@Ellis_ As much as I want us to win this year, I fear the win will overshadow the need for a world class CB, and the board will look past it.

@Ellis_ Agree however I think with our backline we will lose to Bayern and PSG. I’m confident in a final spot, but our defense is too fragile to keep a 4-3 scoreline in the dying minutes, like against Inter. We are only one world class CB away from that UCL

@DukeAstraea @MrHooboMaster Its because the trust isn’t there. Its not praised because people have lost trust in them. Black myth wukong, KCD 2 and dragon age are just a few examples of poor journalism. As a reader it reduces my trust in the outlet and rarely take it seriously

@MrHooboMaster The annoying thing here is that there is never anything to say about game journalists when they praise their favorite games but as soon as a game is tiny bit divisive then it's "oh critics hate my game, they can never be trusted, they can't play"

So I gotta ask.. Why do youtubers that do the exact same thing as "game journalists" (but in video form) think they're somehow superior to game journalists? If anything youtubers in general has less education and a way more reasons to outright lie to get liked and easy views.

@MrHooboMaster One media outlet giving KCD2 bad review because it didn’t hold his or hers hand across the playthrough so they got lost, and framed it as a negative. Simply put I trust these 2 YouTubers in particular more than any media outlet

@MrHooboMaster Because u resonate with those people more. Based on Lukes and SkillUps reviews I found that we share common taste and values in video games. So when they recommended a game I never got disappointed by it. Great example IGN giving Dragon age 9/10, when it was dogshit

@digitalfoundry Its totally fair to be excited by new tech. And constructive criticism should be taken into account, however John said he hates AI. How does that impact your future videos when he’s reviewing games or tech using AI? It’s valid to hate it, but raises concern for bias

@mrpyo1 The only reason I would get a ps5 is for GTA 6. So I don’t think the pro is viable if u only care for that game, unless its gonna be your main platform. Otherwise base ps5 will do until the PC release

After fully trying out PSSR 2.0 today. I have to say what you get for the price to performance the PS5 PRO is probably the best buy you can do 2026 (gaming wise) Saros? GTA 6? Wolverine? Major 2nd/3rd party support? 🔥🔥🔥

@Skillful__ @IMAO_ Agree with faces, but the environment is hard to judge. It’s a showcase video being filmed by a camera. Not to mention also depends on what TV/Monitor it is. Judging by the amount of blue light, it could be a Samsung panel which usually intensifies blue color on their panels

Nothing about DLSS 5 looks good at all. 1. It adds 3 point hero lighting to every character regardless of scene lighting or ambience, it looks like you slapped an IG filter over everything. 2. It gives every character weird glossy shine to their skin? Which again is completely unrealistic and looks like an IG beauty filter. 3. All environments get altered color temperatute for some reason and makes everything noticeably cool in color tone. This is not color-accurate. It should be warmer. In the AC Shadows example for example, why is everything so cold looking? It's a supposed to be a sunny day. It looks like those shitty Reshade GTA 5 mods. 4. It overexposes and adds unnecessary contrast to every scene and makes everything look permanently overcast. 5. DLSS 5 has no clue where light sources should be outside of what is in view (unlike path tracing) so you get random unnecessary lighting coming from angles that shouldn't exist. Anybody who likes this has a fundamental misunderstanding of art direction. If you think that slapping a photorealistic grok filter over every game universally to give every game the exact same look regardless of tone or intention looks good then I suggest you withhold your opinion on anything regarding artistic mediums.

I think this DLSS 5 thing has exposed a lot of people who mindlessly scream at everything AI.

@le_enemy_ @Olrak29_ I don’t know about that one. I think this is cool tech that can be improved upon, as long as they reduce its intensity and improve faces. However u can see how with DLSS 5 it’s almost like they remove the fog to force light through to have extra reflections.

@JezCorden Though again only if it’s not a filter but a tool that devs can use and customize freely, otherwise every game will look the same. Faces look off, but I’m sure they will improve by fall, and with future iterations. Just like DLSS, Raytracing etc it will improve over time

@JezCorden I think we need a fair middle ground. First of all separate it from DLSS and make neural rendering its own feature, second lower the intensity of it and pray the tool can be fully customized by devs so every game doesn’t have the same filter. However environments look phenomenal

We need to bully harder.

@XECO_Bailey @thicc_stick_boi It has shit animations so DLSS 5 makes it look uncomfortable. Another issue is the rendering changing faces. I know Nvidia said it doesn’t, but Grace looks different, and a high schooler in hogwarts looks 35 instead of 15. that messes with artistic identity and setting of a game

@XECO_Bailey @thicc_stick_boi Yes but no… It improves the visuals in a lot of cases (environments) though I do feel every game will look the same now just like every UE5 game looks the same. However it doesn’t change the animations which is why starfield looks so off in particular

DLSS 5 simply can’t replace well done character faces and models. The random switch to photo realism layered on top of a video game engine looks uncanny and at many points immersion is broken because the tech can’t compensate every frame a second accurately. We need better engines
