A huge new £17million bike lane has been branded a 'monumental waste of public money' - as it has substantially increased congestion while being used by only a handful of cyclists. It is over 11ft wide in places which means cyclists have more room than motorists using the now-restricted 10ft wide carriageway alongside it. Yet there are claims it is barely used - with sample monitoring suggesting that hundreds of cars, lorries, vans & buses are using the shrunken road stretch for every single cyclist alongside them. But if United buy him, Marseille keeps the whole amount which actually makes it a deal they’d be open to. Now the uncomfortable part. The situation that led to his exit was serious and controversial.
