Anywhere i read about their friendship, am reminded of the speculated theory for their eventual falling out & wonder if creatives are helplessly more loyal to their muses than mortals they manifest through?

Among individuals with severe, treatment-resistant #Schizophrenia, #dementia was common and showed a distinct clinical and genetic profile not explained by #Alzheimer disease, cardiovascular risk, or medication effects. ja.ma/4uWAsGG

hearing them account how many they have been a part of (ignore how many they start!) feels like your own face is melting inside this mangled mess of a war machine

From the poet's zoo they heard monkeys cry; from the poet's observatory they heard poem after poem like a call to prayer. The general's tongue burned with slivers invisible to the eye. The general's tongue was the color of cranberry glass.

As for the core idea of what makes a good diagnostician, his clinic practice method is similar what any serious student does reviewing a GT or Blocks : thoroughly revisit what you got wrong, 𝙬𝙝𝙮 you got it wrong, what were you thinking or not thinking. Train and retrain the model in head with true opinions till you live most of it to arrive at Knowledge. Meanwhile rely on recollection as need be. P.s. secret to any kind of mastery is metacognition.
