The NCAA has confirmed that there is a path for @UMassMBB to seek reconsideration of the 1996 Final Four ruling.
This is an important step forward and the clearest indication yet that the issue can be revisited.

When @braddny and I started talking about working to have the Final Four reinstated, all we wanted was for the question to be considered.
Today, the @NCAA confirmed there is a path for @UMassMBB to seek reconsideration of the 1996 Final Four ruling. A lot has changed in college athletics over the last 30 years, and it's an encouraging step forward.

That 1996 team was like the 1967 Red Sox Impossible Dream team. It was BIGGER than just a basketball season it was a “happening” like Woodstock. I am glad I got to experience it! Go UMass
