I don’t typically share my day job for privacy reasons but for the past 5 years I’ve been working for Spirit Airlines and that ended overnight. I loved my job. Please keep me, my thousands of colleagues, and the many travelers who will hurt from this loss in your thoughts. ❤️

People celebrating this like it’s a win are missing the point . Spirit kept flights affordable and accessible. Without it, flight prices will go up extremely high and travel will become harder for EVERYONE!

Celebrating Spirit closing is ridiculous. Guys, you know that when ppl don’t have jobs the world gets more dangerous for all of us?

Losing Spirit Airlines is a big deal. Low budget airlines are essential to keeping travel affordable, and without them, millions of people will simply be priced out of flying. Competition matters, and when low-cost carriers disappear, everyone pays the price.
