@tonypartridge @CraftCMS Thanks all. I had to put everything in the www folder on the server and couldn't change the document root to point to the web folder (very restricted hosting). But we solved it with a symlink.

@CraftCMS @breadcrumbs I think he is trying to place it all in the webroot and then change the webroot to the web folder. Rather than placing the files just out of web root and putting the web root inside public_html. Just an assumption

@craftcms do you have a solution for Craft 3 for hostings where you can't change the document root for a project (like you had for Craft 2)?
