I should be in the MLB right now.
Growing up I was an athletic kid. Very athletic, infact I was so good that I played on one of the highest ranking baseball teams for many many years.
I would practice every day and many days 6-8 hours of my time after school was spent playing baseball or gymnastics.
From the time I was just 4 years old to the time I was 15 I was playing baseball.
When I was 8 years old I set a national record of the fastest pitching 8 year old in America and at the time it was 62MPH clocked and verified. Yea that was me.
I went on to winning dozens of tournaments, hitting walk off home runs on the biggest fields I ever played on, closing out games faster than anyone could.
From just normal basic baseball teams to playing in select baseball for a top 5 team in Texas to playing tournaments in Florida and Arlington TX.
I had the trajectory and record to make it to the minor leagues and probably quickly skip them and get drafted to the MLB.
A handful of the guys I played with actually did make it through to the MLB and are still playing now.
My coach was the best of the best, he was a previous angels player and spent years playing major league ball.
The unfortunate thing is as I was at my peak and winning every tournament my dad and my coach got into a heated argument, I don’t remember if they got into a fight or not but it ended up me being kicked off the team and my dreams of baseball were shattered.
All the hard work through sleepless nights, 20 hour drives to Florida, winning tournaments in Arlington at actual major league stadiums to sitting there in my room with my baseball dreams crushed and no motivation to playing ever again.
It wasn’t just a dream. I had and believe I still have what it takes to make it in the MLB but at this point it’s already too late and I’ve missed my mark and lost years and years of training.

“Hey bro it’s a classic red and black Jordan 1 you can never go wrong” “Great investment” proceeds to sell each pair at a big loss 5 years later —- Is sneaker investment….dead?

@GoodAssSub I have a ton of black Yeezy slides for sale on StockX. No waiting.
Just sold 6 pairs last night and I’m shipping them first thing this morning.

@thecaseywoodard I was thinking of the same options but when you drive a f8 it’s 100x more fun then those other options

@Jason______A The Sian deal was $150k down but he has to keep it under 1000 miles or he owes $1M.

I’m usually the one calling this stuff out hard, like I did with Vincent and “his” Sián situation but let’s point out some key differences people are intentionally ignoring.
Carrio Boyz do not “rent” cars from Carrio.
They use open-end leases.
I’ve explained this before in detail.
These are assumptions, not facts:
TJR likely:
- Put $1,000,000 cash down
- Paid $60k+/mo for ~5+ months ($300k)
- Got $750k back
- Net cost =-$550,000
For those that are slow TJR lost $550,000 on the car ….. but did he?
The real question
Did TJR make more than $550k from the exposure?
I’d assume he 5×’d that at minimum. For those that are slow I assume he made $2,000,000 in profit at least.
Now for those constantly bitching “oh it’s a rental, ask yourself
Could 99% of the people talking shit:
- Put up $1M cash?
- Float $300k in payments?
- Risk $1M as marketing spend?
No. None of them could. NONE
Also important:
TJR was not a standard Carrio Boyz deal.
Carrio
- Let him ship the car out of state
- Let him take it to car week
- Let him drive highways
- Let him speed
That alone tells you this wasn’t a “normal” promo arrangement.
Contrast that with Vincent
- Rolled limited equity into the deal
- Much smaller down payment
- No highways
- No speeding
- Payments likely crushed him
Now the car’s reportedly repo’d… and I wouldn’t be shocked if more repos follow from his “fleet”
These “promo” deals only work if the participants don’t bite the hand feeding them.
Course sellers abusing the optics will eventually kill the model.
Carrio won’t keep running lopsided deals once the downside outweighs the upside.
This trick no longer works for the Average course seller which is why it works for TJR and not Vincent.
This nonsense will correct itself.
It always does.
Thank God .. the begining of the end.

TJR snuck one more photoshoot in with “his” koenigsegg before returning the rental course sellers are so embarrassing
