- Took him 2 laps to be on pace on Friday.
- Pole by some margin.
- Drove a full stint within inches of the leader (one of the best GT3 drivers in the NBR) & got past last lap.
- Sent it left, right, center like a maniac in traffic.
I think you should sit this one out 👍

Will Max Verstappen's lack of experience hurt him at the Nurburgring 24 hours? [Link in first comment]

@jameypricephoto @JoeyBarnes85 This is what I want my answer to be. The really bad part in terms of sportscar racing is that not all manufacturers/teams are equal in terms of performance per dollar. They are so far away that maybe two would survive without BoP and back to LMP1. We can dream, I guess...

It's just funny at this point how these people go from F1 to a series that has more electrical assistance systems than F1 and claim it's pure racing
Verstappen News@verstappenews
🗣️ Max Verstappen: “At least you can drive flat out without looking after the battery.” 😌
English

@RyCamN7 @jameypricephoto It happens in F1 also.
Not sure what the discussion is but it's been fun.
English

@brrrake @jameypricephoto Back to the comparison though you see that in Endurance racing all the time. Gaps will grow to 5 seconds then come down to under a second the grow again all just cause drivers adjusting pace based on their metrics and goals.
English

@VerstappenFacho @jameypricephoto .... It is absolutely impacted by the drivers demand to spend or recover energy.
English

@jameypricephoto F1's battery managament in these regulations isn't even done by the driver, it's done by a software, it's not even comparable to Formula E because there the driver matters
English

@RyCamN7 @jameypricephoto I think a good tell of formula 1 is looking at lap times (fuel corrected or not) between single lap and race. F1 is never flat out in racing. And now it's that... Then huge lap by lap swings in performance/car potential based on the current state of charge. This is the bad part.
English

@jameypricephoto I don’t think anyone is saying they are exactly the same. It’s more that in endurance racing you very rarely are going “flat out” and not managing pace for something. Since everyone seems stuck on the “flat out” thing
English

@jameypricephoto I read that one from one of the commentators. Woof 💀😂
English

I really don't think so. All it takes is opening more than a few laps and looking at all of the holes in the data. This is not new this year. The China telemetry available from qualifying is almost unusable compared to Melbourne.
F1 Telemetry Data@F1TelemetryData
🚨 Is #F1... CHANGING telemetry data to hide the super-clipping?? Look at today's speed traces: throtthe goes above 100%, and the speed for all drivers gets locked until braking. I hope this is a bug and not wanted, because this would be RIDICULOUS. #ChineseGP #Telemetry

@JRHouston20 If only it was obvious to the decision makers a few years ago... Oh waiiiiiit. 😂😭

@brrrake @EdSpencer99 If you ever see it anywhere, I can highly recommend Saltaire Blonde. Heaven in a pint glass! We had our work's do at their brewery tap at Xmas. #LocalBeer 🍺
English

@EdSpencer99 To be fair. There's so much awesome British craft breweries whose most average beer was better than Brewdogs best beer. Cloud Water, Verdant, Northern Monk, Deya. And the list goes on.
It just sucks because the MK Brewdog was a good place that always has food and decent taps
English

@brrrake That too. Yeah probably going to stick with Brooklyn Lager when one fancies it
English

@EdSpencer99 The datorz suggest people aren't drinking as much. Oh well. Back to a few pints of London pride now and then !
English

@brrrake Reasonable-tasting beer; shame the owner put craft beer in a bad light. Sadly, bar culture in the UK is on its back now and isn't likely to get better soon, with how much the prize of a pint is going up.
