Our annual pilgrimage to the lake district wouldn't be complete without a trip on @busboytom's Lakesider 599. Bus from Winderemere followed by walking Ambleside - Elterwater - Grasmere before bus and boating it back.

@every_station The journey is actually 31 miles which works out at just over 18p per mile. I’d argue that’s very fairly priced considering.
