@TheAhmadOsman Data privacy is so outdated. Like common. In Germany we can't even drive public transportation without having to have a smartphone on us. And it belongs to the place that invented data privacy. Is data privacy a thing in your environment?

@capjmk That’s interesting 😅 I think a lot of those platforms struggle because it’s more system-driven than outcome-driven. People still trust real networks more than listings.

As I failed my challenge today to interact with sensitive content or post opinions about political stuff, I decided to take a cheat day In Germany we have something like LinkedIn but from the government. Over 100k people work there. Their job is to get other people a job. I never heard that someone got a job from there. I think they have more synthetic jobs listed than on LinkedIn. Maybe the synthetic job was even invented there.

@capjmk @adamc0dez That’s actually how LinkedIn behaves 😅 it doesn’t really “answer” questions, it amplifies content that already has traction. For questions like that, posts usually need a strong hook or perspective to get replies.

Every marketing book feels outdated So how do you learn marketing?

If you open a business and people steal from it on a scale that feeds your family while AI is doing the necessary tax reports you are basically state employed; real moat rn in Germany

What is worse, AI doing your job or you doing AIs job?

Couple years ago I thought we can make. Fix the problems and the country and stuff. Would study chemistry and share ideas about how to become independent of fossils and work on projects and stuff. The results down the road. The government fixed nothing, decreased living standards of people but raised their own. I thought that moment would never happen, as we think the US is worse than here. But started to apply in the US for stuff.

Day 2 of not interacting with sensitive topics on socials to fix my life. Failed. According to newspapers, Germany literally announced to raise the payment of government officials to enable them that just one parent has to work. Most people can't even afford children here rn. I don't know but six months down the road I see something like that coming

Das Beamtentum ist zu einem absurden Selbstbedienungsladen geworden. Wir sollten nur noch in ganz wenigen Bereichen verbeamten: Polizei, Justiz, Feuerwehr, kritische Infrastruktur und Gefahrenabwehr. That’s it.

I think the government will have to face the fact that they have to fire officials and servants even though it's against the law. That will mark the start of the new age.
