@emilykmay Didn’t expect to become a granny.Son with slightly older lady who already had a child.I just accepted it.If I felt sad it was because I knew son would be a great dad.However, when pregnancy announced & little one arrived, I hadn’t realised how much I must’ve wanted a grandbaby ❤️

@Dr_BellaR I intervened once. I was with a now ex boyfriend. I couldn’t stand by as a man was whacking his small child so hard on the bottom that his little legs were lifting off the ground. BF and I later had an argument as he said I’d put him in danger…hence why he’s an ex!

A reminder that the ‘15 minute city’ is nothing more than a planning concept that neighbourhoods are designed so most daily necessities and services are within a 15 min walk, bike or bus ride from your home

I’m so not up for 15 min communities. It will not work for families with active kids doing all sorts of activities. And whilst the little people get to live confined with little choice those in the WEF fly in their jets & on their yachts telling ‘ the people’ to reduce their lives. Who voted for these globalists?

On days like this I’m reminded that I would have voted for Margaret Thatcher because I thought that a woman PM was a marvellous idea and also to spite my parents.
Fortunately I was too young and I’m forever grateful for that.

I’m going to venture an unpopular opinion: whatever one’s politics, it is an historic moment when the Tory Party elects a black woman, Kemi Badenoch, to be its leader. It also draws into sharp focus the failure of ‘progressive’ parties to come near to doing the same.

@DeidreShannon9 @ItaOKelly When I first noticed I was being blinded last year from the glare, the first thing I did was make an appointment with the opticians. My eyesight had not changed from the previous test. These lights are simply too bright. Just awful. Avoid driving at night now

@ItaOKelly Get your eyes checked. Seriously. My optician said that if the lights begin to bother you it could be that you've the beginning of cataracts or other issues. (To do with dispersion of light at the back of the eye)

What is happening to headlights on cars?
Find them increasingly harsh, glaring and blinding.
Headlamps used to have a creamy tone, but now they have LED style lights, all in vastly different styles.
Are there no regulations on such matters.
Anyone?

@ItaOKelly I’ve started to avoid driving at night these past couple of years. The glare from these headlights is awful. And must be dangerous.

@BeakerWink60774 @colinwalker79 @SimonPease1 I believe having local facilities is a good thing. I believe basing a country’s infrastructure on pretty much one mode of travel (car) has been a massive mistake and if this is how to correct that, I’m all for it.
