Today I saw a brave Salford side left to be slaughtered AGAIN while their new owners sat and watched. Players, coaches & fans I applaud you for showing up after everything but as for the owners and governing body their silence is a disgrace.

Sad news Ray French MBE, the former St Helens, Widnes and Great Britain international & for many years the voice of rugby league on the BBC passed away earlier today. Ray, who has been suffering from dementia in recent years, was 85. Thoughts are with Ray’s family 💔

So saddened that my great friend and old teammate at Widnes Dougie Laughton has passed away,Dougie was a great forward & was in the GB team that won the ashes in Australia in 1970 it was Dougie and I that travelled down to S Wales to sign Jonathan Davies in 1989. @RLCares
