OPPORTUNITY :Germany's shortage of skilled workers is being positioned as an opportunity for Namibia’s highly capable yet unemployed workforce through the TalentsBridge Programme, which aims to align training standards and facilitate skills transfer between the two countries. Speaking at the launch of the TalentsBridge Programme in Windhoek on Thursday, President of the Berlin Chamber of Commerce and Industry and TalentsBridge Chairman, Sebastian Stietzel, said the initiative will start with 100 trainees in Industrial Electrical, Hospitality, and Wholesale and Retail, with guaranteed employment pathways in either Namibia or Germany upon completion.
